I talk about this constantly and here’s a really practical example of what it looks like on the ground. Fierce Staffing is an event staffing company we worked with. We built an end-to-end automation where an AI agent screens candidates and conducts on-demand voice interviews based entirely on the recruiter’s own rubric and scoring methodology. Simple, effective, and it allowed them to scale to large-scale events without the chaos. NOT boiling the ocean. The key thing here is that it’s not about giving AI the decision-making power. It’s about using AI as a co-pilot to streamline the hiring process. That’s the version of agentic AI that actually works on the ground today. Missed this week’s episode? In this solocast, Jason Mudd breaks down how PR shapes recruiting, retention, and workforce quality. Candidates don’t start with your careers page. They start with your reputation — what shows up in search, media, and third-party validation. That perception drives who applies, who accepts, and who stays. If you want stronger talent, focus on what your reputation communicates before hiring ever begins. Check the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/eTYZf8Xy

"I'd rather make 10 really good calls than 100 poor ones." Every recruiter has said it. Every manager has heard it. And it sounds reasonable until you realise the people making 100 calls are the ones actually getting better. Volume and quality aren't opposites. Volume is how you get quality. We're having way too much fun with this whole Matchcast thing... Dropping a clip from our latest episode where Doug Berg and Jen Vick dig into what’s really behind candidate ghosting, and why it’s so frustrating for talent acquisition teams trying to keep momentum. The problem isn't lack of interest; it's lack of connection. With Match2, candidates have their own portal to stay connected and keep employers updated in real time, and employers have their own rich data dashboard with a ton of insights. If you’re ready to move forward: candidates see it instantly. If they’re progressing elsewhere: you know in real time. All in one connective layer that sits inside your existing tech stack. No more guessing, no more dead ends. Just a persistent, two-way connection powered by continuously updated data, so you have real visibility into candidate intent as it’s happening. 🔥 Oh, did we mention, this also works pre-apply? So those passive career site visitors that are highly qualified but disappear? We compliantly capture and match them, so you can connect with the right talent, at the right time. All in a consumer-experience application that has never existed...until now. We're not just building another layer...we are truly creating a brand new ecosystem within the existing TA universe. 💥 Would this change your hiring process? Let us know below. The staffing industry thrives on performance. But at what cost? In this episode of Talent Titans, Suky sat down with Corie Begley to talk about something most people in this industry don't want to admit is a problem. The "lone wolf" biller culture. It looks like high performance on paper. But over time, it erodes team culture, client growth, and long-term success. Corie shares how her organization moved from siloed, individual-driven performance to a collaborative, high-impact model... and kept the results. They also discussed AI in recruitment, handling client demands, protecting margins, and knowing when walking away from business is the right call. If you lead a team, run an agency, or work in a high-pressure sales environment, this one is worth your time. 🎙️ Full episode: https://lnkd.in/e6UF2p8u

Myth: Hiring is just posting a job and picking a candidate. Reality: It’s a lot more complex than that. Because most of the work? You don’t see it. That’s exactly why our CEO Jerry Jao started people actually—to spotlight the work behind hiring and hear straight from the pros doing it every day. A few episodes in, and we’re already spilling some serious truths. Missed them? Jerry just pulled together the TL; DR in his latest blog. So, what’s already coming out? 👀 Kim Stevens exposed what happens when leaders and TA aren't aligned early (spoiler: things go sideways). Monica Sklover gave a window into exec hiring—how decisions get made, and what matters more than your resume. Carissa Mueller lifted the hood on the systems behind employee experience—and how small disconnects have real consequences. So yeah... that “hiring is easy” thing? Totally busted. 💥 📽️ Watch one of our favorite moments from the series. 👉 Then get Jerry’s recap of episodes 1-3: https://ow.ly/5tRw50YXMCM #peopleactually #TalentAcquisition #HRTech #FutureOfWork
