Caleb Fields’ Post

Such a cool experience to have my family involved in the O’Farm x Female Quotient collaboration. There’s something powerful about working for a company that truly understands people don’t stop being humans when they log into work each day. I’m so proud of my team and our leadership who have helped build such an amazing culture in such an intentional way. One of the things I’ve appreciated most about joining O’Farm is the intentional culture that has been built around supporting parents and employees as whole people. Because whether you’re a parent or not, everyone will eventually need empathy, flexibility, understanding, and support during different seasons of life. Benefits matter. But what matters even more is the philosophy behind them. At O’Farm, that looks like: • Paid parental leave for all parents • Remote-first work • Flexible hours across time zones • Unlimited PTO and Paid Volunteer Time • A culture that genuinely encourages people to show up fully both at work and at home As a People & Culture leader, I believe companies that prioritize people in this way are helping redefine what modern workplaces can and should look like. These aren’t just “nice to have” benefits anymore — they are foundational to building sustainable, high-performing cultures. Becoming a dad also changed my perspective in a major way. It deepened my empathy, reshaped how I think about leadership, and made me push even harder for policies and cultures that recognize employees are balancing real lives outside of work. No company gets everything perfect, but organizations willing to invest in people in meaningful ways are setting a new standard for the future of work. Appreciate the continued conversation around this topic from The Female Quotient and our family being highlighted in the article. https://lnkd.in/giYzh6Du

Companies can have polished mission statements, optically impressive leadership principles, and claim to be "people first." But if they aren't intentionally building a culture where team members truly feel supported as authentic individuals, they will still miss the mark. I'm so very impressed by the intentional, mindful work Once Upon a Farm is doing to support their community from the inside out.

What a great article and conversation to keep at the forefront. The importance of truly building a culture of support cannot be overstated. Increased empathy? Check! Leading with humility? Check! Prioritization? Check! Comfort in chaos??! CHECK! 👏 🌟

What a collab! This puts data around what most working parents already know. And your team’s investment in people is doubly impressive with the recent pull back in parental leave benefits in the news. Really exciting stuff!
