Meridian Forge Defense Technology Conference’s Post

A handheld drone interceptor you can carry into the field. Deployed in weeks, not years. Costs less than the drone it kills. That's Askari Defense and they're coming to #MeridianForge. June 11–13, Askari will be showcasing this tech on the floor at the Forge — the same tech trusted by SOCOM, DHS, and the U.S. Army. The future of defense isn't billion-dollar programs. It's companies like this. Join us in Southern Pines: https://lnkd.in/e54dCynC #DefenseTechnology #Security #DefenseInnovation

Impressive direction—this is exactly the kind of capability the fight demands. The real question now is survivability and scalability: Can the interceptor operate as part of a coordinated swarm/group? Can it maintain effectiveness in GPS-denied or EW-contested environments—where most systems fail? That’s where companies like Sine Engineering make the difference. Sine provides the underlying autonomy layer that ensures systems like this actually work in real-world conditions: • Resilient, low-signature communications that hold under jamming • GPS-independent navigation for true operational freedom • Scalable swarm/group control to move from single intercepts to coordinated defense Interceptors are critical—but networked, resilient interceptors are what change the outcome. Would be great to connect and explore how this capability could be extended for contested, at-scale operations.
