We are launching a Director of Construction Operations search for a mid sized General Contractor focused on commercial projects - including office, medical, assisted living, residential, retail, etc... We are seeking a proven leader with staff management experience with local General Contractors in NYC who have implemented new systems, processes and procedures, created new SOPs, and have fine tuned operations and management to create accountability, clarity of purpose around each discipline, and subsequent higher rates of projects success and company profit. This role will oversee Project Management and Field Supervision staff, and will collaborate with principals who managed preconstruction and business development. This role is meant to create a solid foundation for continued scaling and growth. Some national project exposure is helpful as our client is managing work both locally and nationally.
