Ivo Gerscovich’s Post

Excited to share today that SEGA and the International Olympic Committee – IOC are teaming up in a multi-year licensing framework, bringing together two globally iconic brands—Sonic the Hedgehog and the Olympic brand! This new collaboration celebrates our shared values including excellence, respect, and friendship, with the first look at the "Olympic Rings" program combining Sonic’s supersonic energy with the Olympic symbol. A full merchandise collection is planned for 2026, and both companies are inviting like-minded brands to join this unique fusion of sports and video games. Thank you to Betty Aldini, Anne-Cécile DAULAY, and Elisabeth Allaman of the IOC for being fantastic partners as well as graciously hosting us at their amazing HQ in Lausanne, Switzerland last week. Also, a big shoutout to Shigefumi Tanzawa, Kristen Zimmer and all the incredible people at both SEGA and the IOC organizations for bringing this dynamic partnership to life. #SEGA #SonicTheHedgehog #Olympics #Innovation #Unity

That's Fantastic! Now let's just hope the next Olympics aren't borked by the US government...

Would there be a new Sonic & Mario title, or a multiplatform Sonic at the Olympics?
