In our Infant School Arabic lessons, we focus on creating meaningful, play-based experiences that help children connect with the language in joyful and memorable ways. At this age, learning happens best through curiosity, movement, and hands-on exploration. One of our favourite activities this month was introducing the sound ر. To make the learning immersive, we took the activity to the sandpit and hid the letter ر in the sand. The children became excited little explorers, digging and searching to hunt for the sound. It was the perfect real-world connection: ر — رمل! Using sand in our Arabic lessons not only builds sensory engagement but also supports sound recognition, fine motor skills, and confidence in learning new letters. Creating these playful moments helps our learners build a strong, positive foundation for the Arabic language and reminds us how magical early learning can be. #bh #bahrain #arks #schools #bahrainschools #innovation #arkedu #arksdiyar
