Web Developer

Overview:

Kavaliro is seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong Joomla experience to support a high-impact program within the Intelligence Community. This role is ideal for someone who can own the full website lifecycle—from planning and design through development, optimization, and maintenance—while operating independently within a small, agile team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end website planning, architecture, and development efforts
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Joomla-based websites
• Write and maintain custom code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement and manage SEO best practices to improve site visibility and performance
• Ensure a strong focus on user experience (UX) and intuitive design
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored web solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• Proven experience with Joomla development and administration
• Strong experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with custom code development and website customization
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and implementation
• Experience designing and optimizing for user experience (UX)
• Ability to work independently as a solo developer within a small team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting government or intelligence community programs
• Familiarity with secure web development practices
