Our client, a leading organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a Vehicle Quality Analyst to join their team. As a Vehicle Quality Analyst, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting cross-functional teams dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of vehicle quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Vehicle Quality Analyst
Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan
Pay Range:$24/hr to $26/hr
What's the Job?
Validate product and process design and assembly at the geometric level, managing quality assurance fixtures.
Participate in developing geometric monitoring plans at assembly lines.
Ensure geometric quality convergence during industrialization before volume production.
Report component and assembly quality issues, collaborating with design, conformity, and manufacturing teams to resolve them.
Conduct analyses, identify quality optimization solutions, and facilitate communication to meet KPIs.
What's Needed?
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields from an ABET-accredited university.
3-5 years of experience in automotive product engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, or product quality.
Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and Supplier Quality Manual.
Proficiency in statistical data analysis, metrology principles, and root cause analysis methods.
Strong understanding of vehicle design, assembly, process control, and tooling.
