Vehicle Quality Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a Vehicle Quality Analyst to join their team. As a Vehicle Quality Analyst, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting cross-functional teams dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of vehicle quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vehicle Quality Analyst

Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan

Pay Range:$24/hr to $26/hr

What's the Job?

• Validate product and process design and assembly at the geometric level, managing quality assurance fixtures.
• Participate in developing geometric monitoring plans at assembly lines.
• Ensure geometric quality convergence during industrialization before volume production.
• Report component and assembly quality issues, collaborating with design, conformity, and manufacturing teams to resolve them.
• Conduct analyses, identify quality optimization solutions, and facilitate communication to meet KPIs.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields from an ABET-accredited university.
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive product engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, or product quality.
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and Supplier Quality Manual.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis, metrology principles, and root cause analysis methods.
• Strong understanding of vehicle design, assembly, process control, and tooling.
