We’re TTX, a company that provides railcars and related freight car management tools to the North American rail industry. Our pool of railcars – nearly 175,000 strong – helps support shippers in a wide range of industries. From automotive and machinery companies to paper & forest, metals and wind energy industries, shippers throughout the country rely on TTX’s flatcars, boxcars and gondolas. We’re owned by North America’s strongest railroads, and our free-running cars help minimize empty miles – so risks and costs are lowered, too.   • Last week, TTX brought together new Field Maintenance Operations (FMO) supervisors from several locations across the network for FMO University, a three-day immersive learning experience at its Charlotte headquarters. Designed to strengthen leadership capabilities and deepen understanding of the business, the program provided participants with valuable opportunities to engage with leaders across the organization and gain insight into key areas supporting TTX’s operations and long-term success. FMO University reflects TTX’s ongoing commitment to investing in its people and building strong, connected leaders across the organization.   • VeTTX, TTX’s Business Resource Group founded to ensure the qualities developed through service such as accountability, adaptability, teamwork and leadership are recognized as strengths that benefit TTX’s people, culture and business, recently hosted a golf tournament that raised approximately $10,000 to benefit Stop Soldier Suicide, an organization dedicated to reducing suicide among U.S. veterans and service members. Founded by combat veterans, Stop Soldier Suicide provides free and confidential support through proactive outreach, virtual counseling, crisis intervention and evidence-based treatment programs ensuring veterans receive help before reaching a point of crisis.   • This Earth Day, TTX employees made a meaningful impact in our hometown of Charlotte! In partnership with Catawba Riverkeeper, an organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the Catawba-Wateree River basin, members of ConnecTTX, TTX’s business resource group focused on giving back to local communities through community engagement, volunteer service and charitable giving, participated in a cleanup effort along a tributary of Irwin Creek at Southside Park. In just two hours, 22 TTX volunteers removed: • 1,534 pounds of trash • 31 bags of debris • 12 tires • Larger items including fencing, a fire hose, a scooter and a 23-foot section of boardwalk At TTX, we’re proud to support the communities where we live and work, and to play a role in protecting the environment for future generations. #EarthDay #CommunityImpact #Sustainability #TTX

  • TTX recently joined with The Greenbrier Companies to unveil a series of American flag-themed boxcars commemorating America’s 250th anniversary. The railcars were introduced during a special event at Greenbrier’s maintenance facility in Cleburne, Texas, attended by company leaders, employee veterans, local officials and members of the rail industry, including Federal Railroad Administration Administrator David Fink.
