Technical Analyst

We are seeking Sr. Technical Analyst for supporting the implementation and management of enterprise data products. In this role, you will focus on ensuring that data pipelines and data lakehouse components are secure, scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary technical support to end user community for problems related to software, data issues, data communication and processing errors.
• Monitor application, production and/or implementation support, both technical and user, for new releases.
• Consult on application testing strategies, document observations and coordinate responses.
• Maintain project and application information including schedule, system scope, requirements, and other pertinent documentation.
• Make recommendations to management regarding process improvements.
• Coordinate the information flow between business owners and development staff. Coordinate tasks, functional reviews and application development sessions between the development site and technical work groups ensuring steps are executed timely.
• Document end-user interactions into the automated call logging tools for tracking and productivity purposes.
• Validate proposed technical approaches to system or application problem logs and make recommendations for mediation to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 of relevant experience in data engineering, data platform support, or analytics engineering including 3 years in Data-bricks/PySpark/Python.
• SQL-troubleshooting, testing, problem solving, queries Starburst Incident management/correct monitoring of data-bricks.
• Required : Data bricks. 2 startburst, 3. SQL 4. Collibra Python or R (sparklyR is a great +) Additional Skills-Alteryx, Git.
• Hands on experience in Databricks combined with at least one key skill area, including R or SparklyR, PySpark or Python, Starburst or Tableau, or Collibra or Alteryx.
• Strong experience with Databricks (including PySpark, Data Quality Frameworks, and custom dashboards).
• Experience with one or more of the following: R/SparklyR for data analysis; PySpark/Python scripting and automation with performance tuning.
• Starburst development or support.
• Collibra development or support.
• Alteryx development or support.
• Tableau development with performance tuning;
• Immuta security configuration (RBAC and ABAC).
• Experience with Agile/SAFe delivery, Jira, requirements engineering, backlog refinement, application and data modeling, and distributed engineering teams is strongly preferred.

Hours :

Must be willing to be on call periodically from 8am-2pm ET or 2pm-8pm ET Monday through Friday.
