Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, inventory, production scheduling, and logistics. This role drives cost efficiency, service performance, and scalability through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, demand planning, inventory management, production scheduling, and logistics, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that optimize cost, service levels, and scalability while supporting company growth initiatives
• Analyze demand trends, historical data, and market signals to drive accurate forecasting and effective supply planning decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Commercial teams to meet targets related to cost, quality, delivery, and inventory performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain efficiency
• Establish and standardize best practices across key supply chain functions, including planning, sourcing, inventory control, and distribution
• Manage supplier selection, onboarding, and performance through defined KPIs (quality, delivery, cost), and lead negotiations to improve terms and service levels
• Oversee inventory strategy, including safety stock levels, inventory turns, and working capital optimization
• Ensure effective logistics and distribution strategies, including transportation management, warehouse optimization, and on-time delivery performance
• Lead, develop, and mentor the supply chain team, including hiring, performance management, and capability building
• Serve as a subject matter expert for supply chain systems, tools, and processes (e.g., ERP, planning systems), driving adoption and continuous improvement
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to monitor performance and support data-driven decision-making
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier disruptions, demand variability, and capacity constraints

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, MIS, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience across demand planning, supply planning, sourcing, procurement, and inventory management
• People leadership experience with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage change in a dynamic environment
