#InsideKCx | Kultura Bavaria Automotive Festival in Moldova🚗✨ Together with our dealer Arti Golden, we participated in the Kultura Bavaria automotive exhibition in Moldova. During the event, we presented the full product portfolio of KCx, including COLOURLOCK and our latest steering wheel restoration and leather care sets. Visitors had the opportunity to join our masterclasses and gain hands-on experience in steering wheel leather coloring, as well as polishing automotive surfaces and headlights using KCx products. #InsideKCx | Training Days in Estonia On April we had the pleasure of hosting a two day training together with our dealer Flexoil OÜ in Pärnu, Estonia. A total of 24 participants from across Estonia joined the training to explore the full product portfolio of marine and COLOURLOCK through both theoretical sessions and hands-on practical applications✨🛥️ During the workshop, participants worked directly on a boat using products from Koch-Chemie for washing and polishing, while leather steering wheels and seats were professionally repaired and restored using COLOURLOCK solutions. The group showed great engagement throughout the training, asking insightful questions and working on complex leather repair cases in practice. At the end of the event, all participants received certificates and small gifts as a thank you for their participation. A special thank you goes to our distributor Flexoil OÜ for the excellent preparation and organization of this successful event. #InsideKCx | Car Wash Spring Action 🚗☀️ As part of our spring action in Unna, all employees had the opportunity to give their cars a fresh shine at a local car wash. To make the challenge even more fun, we also launched an internal selfie contest. Everyone who participated in the car wash action could submit their best or most creative photo for the chance to win a voucher. We received many great entries and pictures of shining cars throughout the challenge. #InsideKCX | Crisis PR Workshop at Koch-Chemie Together with SMART PR GmbH from Düsseldorf, a PR agency specialized in strategic corporate communication, we took a deep dive into crisis communication at our Unna site💬 The workshop focused on potential scenarios, how to assess them, and how to communicate effectively when it matters most. It clearly showed how important structured processes, aligned messaging, and transparency are to stay capable of acting in challenging situations. One key takeaway: crises rarely affect just one function. They require cross-functional thinking and close collaboration across the organization. This workshop marked a strong starting point. #InsideKCX | Uzbekistan Training From April 13 to April 18, 2026, we delivered our first large-scale training series in Uzbekistan together with our partner Vikron Group – across Kokand, Samarkand, Namangan, and Tashkent🌍 More than 180 participants joined us for an intensive program covering the full Koch-Chemie portfolio, from wash chemicals and polishes to interior care. What made this series stand out was its strong practical focus. Participants worked directly on cars, preparing surfaces, polishing, and applying protective coatings themselves. Real application, real learning. Our trainer Yurii and our international Sales Manager Dmytro played a key role in this, guiding participants through the application processes, demonstrating techniques, and sharing hands-on expertise throughout the sessions. A key highlight was the international premiere of our new products Active Foam Berry Boost and Ultra Foam, presented for the first time outside our home market🫧 This initiative underlines how important international collaboration and on-site exchange are for sustainable growth and knowledge transfer. #InsideKCX | Recruiting Conference 2026 Last week, we attended Schicht im Schacht 2026, a recruiting conference rooted in the Ruhr region’s industrial heritage, and experienced a full day of valuable insights around recruiting, strategy, and future-focused topics. Svenja Schuller and Rabea Weiden explored a range of sessions, including topics such as Equal Pay for Equal Work, among others presented by Christina Schulte-Kutsch and Carolin Lachner from Siemens Energy, which highlighted how important transparent compensation structures are for leaders to ensure fair, consistent, and well-founded salary decisions. Another key focus was the impact of artificial intelligence. The discussions went beyond tools and explored how AI is fundamentally changing the way we work, make decisions, and shape roles within HR. This was complemented by perspectives on how organizations can remain innovative and continue to evolve, even in challenging economic environments. The many conversations and practical insights showed how differently companies approach similar challenges and which strategies are proving effective in practice. #InsideKCX | Live Town Hall Meeting in Unna During a live town hall meeting at the company’s headquarters in Unna, CEO Christian A. Maehler and Chief People and Corporate Functions Officer Svenja Schuller provided our employees with a comprehensive overview of current business performance and an outlook for the coming months. Particularly encouraging: First-quarter revenue is currently exceeding projections – a truly strong result! At the same time, the market environment remains challenging. This makes it all the more important to continue sharpening our focus on cost and process optimization. “The sea is getting rougher, but we're staying on course,” said CEO Mähler. Other topics discussed at the meeting included: Developments within the NOVARC Group, progress on the online store, new products, Warehouse optimizations, the new KCX location in Cumming (USA) and successes and ongoing projects from the People and Corporate Functions division. A big thank you to all colleagues for the open and constructive discussion and questions - this is exactly what makes this format so valuable.
