ComplianceQuest (CQ) is seeking a Solution Engineer/Consultant – EBR which is a customer-facing role that leads the full solution lifecycle from pre-sales discovery and solution design through implementation alignment and delivery support.


This role serves as the primary technical pre-sales advisor to prospects and customers in the sales process. Once sold, will be involved in driving the implementation success for customers from solution design, configuration, testing, training and go-live. The individual will engage early in the sales cycle to shape customer requirements, deliver compelling demonstrations, and continue through project execution to ensure the configured solution meets business, regulatory, and operational needs.


This position combines Solution Engineering excellence (discovery, demos, deal strategy) with Solution Consulting capabilities (solution/process design, process optimization, and implementation guidance).


Key Responsibilities:


Pre-Sales Solution Engineering Leadership

  • Lead discovery sessions with Account Executives to identify customer business goals, operational challenges, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver tailored solution presentations and product demonstrations, including configured EBR use cases.
  • Partner with Sales to shape deal strategy and position CQ solutions competitively.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and IT.
  • Support RFIs/RFPs and respond to technical and functional requirements.
  • Identify integration opportunities and articulate end-to-end solution value.
  • Support in the creation of demo assets such as demo data creation and sales presentation decks
  • Support marketing in being a spokesperson for Webinars and Industry events


Solution Consulting & EBR Design

  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable EBR solution designs.
  • Lead solution alignment workshops and design sessions with customers.
  • Provide guidance on business process optimization and re-engineering for EBR adoption.
  • Recommend product configurations, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Ensure alignment between proposed solutions and implementation feasibility.


Implementation & Customer Success Enablement

  • Support implementation teams to ensure successful deployment and customer outcomes.
  • Deliver customer training on EBR functionality and system usage.
  • Assist in validation readiness (e.g., GMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance).
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks, gaps, or scope changes.
  • Ensure project deliverables align with scope, timeline, and quality expectations.


Technical & Industry Expertise

  • Maintain deep expertise in:
  • EBR/MES solutions
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Life Sciences (MedTech, Pharma) and/or Manufacturing industries
  • Build competitive knowledge and effectively articulate differentiation.
  • Stay current on CQ product capabilities, regulatory standards, and industry trends.


Internal Collaboration & Enablement

  • Act as a bridge between Sales, Product, and Professional Services.
  • Enable internal teams through knowledge sharing, training, and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of demo assets, solution frameworks, and methodologies.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Solution Engineer, Solution Consultant, or similar role in enterprise software.
  • Strong experience with EBR/MES systems and manufacturing environments (Pharma, Biotech, MedTech, or Industrial Manufacturing).
  • Strong understanding of:
  • GMP, GAMP 5
  • FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11
  • Compliance-driven environments
  • Proven ability to lead both pre-sales engagements and implementation-facing design discussions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including executives and technical teams.
  • Strong familiarity with one or more MES platforms (MasterControl, Tulip, Werum PAS-X, Syncade, Opcenter, etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Software systems (Salesforce is a plus)


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Location & Travel:

  • Remote role with upto10% travel as needed for client engagements.
