This position is responsible for supporting clinical and operational processes for a Medication Adherence program. Responsibilities include executing interventions by promoting program benefits with Clients Medicare Part D members. The Pharmacy Technician will interact with Clients staff pharmacists, interns, pharmacy students and Medicare Part D members.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
Monitor toll free call center, handle in-coming member calls, including member opt-outs.
Maintain call logs and spreadsheets for membership.
Monitor electronic mailbox and respond appropriately
Maintain program files.
Assist in the research, analysis, identification, and evaluation of data from assigned problems to evaluate existing and potential trends and issues.
Assist in monitoring program initiatives, outcomes, and objectives to ensure goal attainment
Assist in identifying resolution of challenges and issues in order to fulfill key corporate objectives Assist in development of plans, reports, papers, and creation of other documents
Other duties as required.

EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. At least two (2) years of college preferred.
At least five (5) years’ experience in retail or hospital pharmacy preferred.
At least two (2) years of call center experience.
Knowledge of prescription drug names and therapeutic classes.
Experience with Medicare Part D prescription benefits is preferred.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED: (Brief bullet points detailing the skills necessary for this position)
Strong customer service and phone skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Project management skills preferred.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels.
Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing is preferred.
Understanding of formularies and utilization management edits.
Ability to work well in a work-from-home environment
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a remote setting with no unusual hazards.
