Job Summary
The Litigation Manager oversees a significant caseload involving the prosecution and defense of legal disputes, including supervision of external legal counsel and facilitation of legal advice for internal business partners.

Job Summary
The Litigation Manager oversees a significant caseload involving the prosecution and defense of legal disputes, including supervision of external legal counsel and facilitation of legal advice for internal business partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Comply with all legal and professionalism standards and regulations.
- Manage and oversee claims and litigation assigned to outside counsel.
- Prepare and draft legal correspondence and discovery on behalf of company.
- Initiate litigation holds and conduct high-volume document review for production.
- Hire and oversee outside counsel representation to protect company's interests.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of the company at settlement conferences and mediations.
- Testify as corporate representative at depositions.
- Represent the company at arbitrations and trials.
- Delegates work according to employee's abilities and skills.
- Provides input to employee's performance evaluations.
- Assists in the identification of internal and external training opportunities.
- Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors).

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
- Paralegal certification
- Minimum 5 to 7 years experience as litigation paralegal
- Thorough knowledge of the Company’s industry, products/services
- Working knowledge of civil litigation technology, practices, and procedures
- Ability to work independently and with initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and plan against a set of constantly changing goals
- Familiarity with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and litigation management technology
