Our partners in the Netherlands recently achieved a significant training milestone by successfully strengthening the F-35 compatible link between two operational sites, enhancing real-time communication and decision making. What does this capability look like? Pilots who are miles apart conduct debriefs of large-force simulator training simultaneously, accelerating mission readiness.

Operational readiness starts long before a first flight. As the Air National Guard's 104th Fighter Wing prepares for its transition to the F-35, our engineers are on the ground helping accelerate readiness through hands-on training with maintainers and logisticians. From engine hoists to avionics programmers, maintainers are building proficiency with new support equipment, while pilots gain insights from experienced squadrons. This level of preparation helps ensure they're ready to safely fly, sustain and support the aircraft arriving at their base soon. #TrainingTuesday

Congratulations to Tim Cahill on receiving an honorary doctorate from Purdue University — a well-deserved recognition of his leadership, innovation and impact across the industry. We’re proud to see him honored alongside football legend Drew Brees. #PurdueWeDidIt
This weekend Purdue conferred honorary doctorates to two Boilermaker greats, honoring very different careers that share a common legacy of leadership, innovation and the #Boilermaker spirit. ⚒️ Drew Brees — legendary quarterback, entrepreneur and philanthropist — received an honorary Doctor of Business from Purdue University Daniels School of Business. ⚒️ Tim Cahill, president of Missiles and Fire Control for Lockheed Martin, received an honorary Doctor of Engineering from the Purdue University College of Engineering. https://lnkd.in/gYw2Epte #PurdueWeDidIt #TheNextGiantLeap

As global demand grows, collaboration across the industrial base is essential. At our Munitions Acceleration Supplier Summit, we aligned PAC‑3, THAAD and PrSM suppliers to strengthen the supply chain and speed production. We’re committing $8‑9 B through 2030—ramping up munition output, adding 20+ facilities nationwide and expanding secondary sources to meet our warfighters’ needs.

What if the battlefield picture wasn’t limited by location?📍 At Exercise Balikatan, the largest joint military exercise between the Philippines and the United States, our team’s Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) prototype connected sensor data across the Indo-Pacific in real time. The result: a single, shared view of the fight across thousands of miles, enabling faster decisions and closer coordination between allies. That’s what modern command and control looks like.

What does it mean to truly support those who serve? For us, it starts with recognizing that service doesn’t always look the same and that support should not either. In our latest story, Kira shares how her dual roles in HR and the Air Force Reserve shape the way she shows up for others every day.
