What You Will Do:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Inspector at our growing facility in Grand Prairie, TX. Dallas Airfoil Repair Operations, a recognized leader in the refurbishment of aero-engine and Industrial Gas Turbine airfoils, is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team. • Perform receiving, in-process, and pre-coat inspection functions for materials and non-product items.
• Plan inspection sequences and layouts, utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment to perform less complex inspection operations.
• Adhere to all required training, including warehouse procedures for receiving, receive-in inspection, and materials handling processes.
• Collaborate with the Materials organization to troubleshoot and resolve material-related issues.
• Assign incoming nonconforming parts and non-product items to the appropriate warehouse location to ensure quality requirements are achieved.
• Provide support for warehouse and engine logistics activities as needed.
• Maintain a strong commitment to Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and continuous improvement programs by adhering to policies and procedures, completing all required training, and participating in applicable committee activities.
  
  

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US)
  
  

Qualifications We Prefer:

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 6 months of experience in quality inspection.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise software.

Pratt & Whitney Grand Prairie, TX, is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
