About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Product Management with 10+ years of experience to lead and evolve an enterprise-grade data platform and shared services that serve as the foundation of a multi-sided ecosystem.
This role owns product strategy and execution for a data platform that includes user and identity management, customer onboarding, APIs, integrations, and developer/partner enablement capabilities. The platform is mission-critical infrastructure, enabling data exchange, interoperability, and network effects across customers, partners, and service networks at scale.
In this senior leadership role, you’ll combine platform strategy, deep data fluency, and people leadership. You’ll work closely with customers and partners to understand complex integration needs, collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams, and translate those needs into a clear product vision and roadmap. The focus is on delivering measurable business outcomes while ensuring scalability, security, and extensibility.
You will lead and develop a team of Product Managers, providing coaching and strategic direction while staying hands-on where needed—from discovery through delivery and continuous improvement. You’ll balance long-term platform strategy with near-term execution to support both current solutions and future growth.
This is a remote U.S.-based role with occasional travel for customer engagements and company events.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform, APIs, integrations, and shared services
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and design through delivery, launch, and optimization
Establish and track outcome-based success metrics tied to adoption, scalability, and business impact
Prioritize features and investments based on customer value and platform growth
Lead Agile teams, balancing rapid iteration with long-term architectural considerations
Leverage customer insights, usage data, and market intelligence to guide decisions
Evaluate competitive landscape and emerging technologies to refine platform positioning
Identify and drive new growth opportunities enabled by the platform and ecosystem
Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and communicate product strategy
Partner with Product Marketing on launches, positioning, and sales enablement
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of Product Management experience with technical platform products (data platforms, APIs, integrations)
7+ years leading and developing product teams
Proven ability to operate in complex, ambiguous technical environments
Strong stakeholder management across engineering, GTM teams, executives, customers, and partners
Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills
Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
High ownership mindset with ability to thrive in a remote, cross-functional environment
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with asset-centric or service management platforms in multi-enterprise environments
Familiarity with fleet management systems, dealer systems (DMS), telematics, IoT, or connected asset platforms
Experience with API-first platforms, data ecosystems, and partner/developer enablement
Strong business and financial acumen; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
