Data Engineer

We’re looking for a senior-level data professional who thrives in complex data environments and loves working deep in the backend — building pipelines, optimizing SQL, modeling data, and enabling analytics at scale. This is not a reporting/visualization‑heavy role. This is for someone who wants to own the data layer, engineer solutions, and partner closely with the business to solve real operational problems.

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Work directly with end users, managers, and executives to translate business needs into technical data solutions
• Design, build, and optimize SQL-based data pipelines, stored procedures, functions, and ETL workflows
• Develop and maintain data models, warehouse structures, and backend data assets
• Build and support ETL processes using SSIS and other modern tools
• Work with cloud platforms (GCP + Azure) to support scalable data operations
• Collaborate with BI teams to ensure datasets are analytics‑ready
• Use Python or R for data manipulation, automation, and backend processing

⭐ Must-Have Experience

• 6–8+ years in Data Analytics, BI, or Data Engineering
• Strong SQL programming: triggers, functions, stored procedures, performance tuning
• Strong ETL experience (SSIS required)
• Data warehousing, data modeling, and data manipulation expertise
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools
• Programming/scripting with Python or R
• Cloud experience with GCP and Azure
• Proven ability to gather requirements and work directly with stakeholders, including C‑level

✨ Nice-to-Haves

• BigQuery experience (major plus — we are a Google-focused environment)
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Data Science, Math, or Statistics
• Master’s degree or advanced certifications (Google, Snowflake SnowPro, BI/Analytics certs)
• Experience in Utilities or EMC industries
