  • Support the team in partnership calls, email correspondence, and strategy
  • Ensure the team converts all media leads post-event

Media Relations:

  • Land top-tier press placements on priority accounts
  • Be an agency resource, leveraging media relationships across teams as needed
  • Identify opportunities to create news when there is no news for clients
  • Consistently refine media relations strategy, ensuring the team is delivering smart, on-trend pitches that are translating into opportunities
  • Mentor junior team members on media relations, walking through list building and pitch writing, and next steps
  • Leading key media announcements, motivating teams to ensure each news moment is a success
  • Continue refining mastery of media landscape, landing a mix of digital, broadcast, podcast, newsletter, and more
  • Approve complex media materials, inclusive of press releases, OpEds, LinkedIn content, and more

Client Communications:

  • Serve as the lead client counselor; be the first line of defense for issues, and possess the ability to independently manage clients
  • Build strong rapport with clients on both professional and personal levels
  • Identify IRL touchpoints with clients on a half-annual basis
  • Demonstrate professionalism amongst third-party partners (such as investors, partners, and other brands); manage conversations on behalf of the agency

Mentorship:

  • Instill confidence amongst team members; empower them to successfully manage all aspects of the job
  • Directly manage junior staff ranging from Senior Account Managers to Account Coordinators; responsible for their growth at the agency and serving as a resource and guide for their future
  • Lead weekly meetings with your direct reports
  • Continue to be a sounding board for junior team members; offer advice and counsel to help improve their workflows

Agency Growth

  • Begin working closely with division lead to discuss ways to grow and improve team functions
  • Consistently find opportunities to upsell client scopes and renew client contracts
  • Play a strong role in the development of new business by helping build strategies and pitching clients

  • Strong Culture: we're a tight-knit, collaborative team that works hard and likes to have a good time. From workout classes to happy hours and more, we'll plan something for everyone on a monthly basis
