The Data Analyst, Business Strategy & Analytics will report to the Manager, Strategy & Analytics within the Business Strategy & Analytics Department. This role will work with the Business Strategy & Analytics team to drive data centric decision making through descriptive and predictive analyses, data querying and validation, and internal report creation and maintenance. This role will work collaboratively to support the initiatives of ticketing, marketing, corporate partnerships, fan experience and more.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy & Analytics
Analyze large data sets, interpret results and trends, and translate technical concepts in actionable insights for ticketing, marketing, corporate partnerships, fan experience, and other business departments
Complete ad hoc analyses and data pulls for ticketing, marketing, corporate partnerships, fan experience and other business departments
Lead generation for ticketing and marketing campaigns
Create, maintain, and update Tableau dashboards
Drive adoption of business intelligence tools across the organization to leverage the information available to them and support high level decision-making
Develop analytical models related to lead scoring and retention
Present strategic recommendations and insights internal stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable business strategies
Work within a team on multiple projects at a time and collaborate with various departments across the organization to support their collective growth
Data Strategy
Assist with data validation to ensure data quality and accuracy
Monitor data processes/warehouse status
Assist in writing, updating, and curating technical documentation that serves the Strategy & Analytics department as well as other stakeholders
Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines
Technical Skills & Critical Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with SQL
Familiarity with coding languages (Python, R) is a plus
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake) is a plus
Strong work ethic and high intellectual curiosity
