Reporting to our Director, our new Account Manager will work side by side with the Director, owner, and other team members, to drive in-store sales growth and manage the strategic relationships between our brand partners and key retail customers.

What Role Will You Play?

This role serves as the primary point of contact for supplier partners. This individual will manage partnerships cross-functionally with retailer buying teams, sales, analytics, supply chain, and accounting teams to lead best in class execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management skills with analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of retail sales processes within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.


Key Responsibilities

Client & Brand Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to brand partners, providing insights and recommendations to grow sales.
  • Lead regular business reviews with clients and provide performance updates.

Retailer Account Management

  • Manage relationships with key supplier customers and buying teams.
  • Present new item opportunities, promotions, and category growth initiatives to retailers.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional programs, and distribution opportunities.
  • Ensure proper execution of retail initiatives including planograms, merchandising programs, and promotional activities.

Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with brand and retailer objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution, increase shelf presence, and drive velocity.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze retail sales data using syndicated and retailer reporting tools
  • Monitor key metrics including distribution, velocity, pricing, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams including category management, sales, analytics, supply chain, and accounting.
  • Coordinate with merchandising teams to ensure strong in-store execution.


What You Can Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in consumer products goods sales, retail brokerage, account management, or retailer management.
  • Experience working with major retailers such as Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Target, Ulta Beauty, Meijer, or other major retail chains very helpful.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail data platforms.
