The panel: Cassandra Bankson (2.4M on YouTube, TikTok Shop affiliate powerhouse) and Kelly Welsh (former TikTok Shop Category Manager, now running TikTok Shop for The Jel Sert Company). Two sides of the same table. A creator who’s built long-term brand partnerships across categories. A brand operator who used to work inside TikTok itself. The through line that kept coming up: the creators making real money on TikTok Shop are the ones who show up consistently, work with brands who share their values, communicate well, and treat brand relationships like compounding assets. Consistency beats virality. Every time. Social commerce is a $135B market heading to $1.5T. The creators who understand the game has tiers and play it intentionally are the ones building six-figure income from this platform. One message came through loud and clear: AI is the connective tissue between creators, commerce, and measurement. A few things that stood out from the sessions: 🎬 Creators: "Who tells your story?" matters more than ever. Creative autonomy plus ai-enabled delivery is producing the strongest results. The brands that win are the ones letting creators sound like themselves, not like a brief. 🛒 Commerce: the transaction is moving closer to discovery. Partnership ads and in-app shopping experiences are collapsing the funnel in ways that were theoretical a year ago. 📊 Measurement: the conversation has shifted from attribution debates to incrementality. Conversion lift is becoming the language everyone speaks. The biggest takeaway for me wasn't a tool or a tactic, but a structural one: the gap between organic discovery and paid activation has effectively closed. The remaining challenge is internal. Aligning creator, brand, and performance teams to scale what works is now the hard part. This is the most exciting time to build in the social commerce space!

This GKA-led event series is designed to spotlight the power of creator-driven commerce. Each edition gathers a curated group of top-tier creators and brand partners for a dynamic afternoon of networking, knowledge-sharing, and exclusive collaboration opportunities.

This GKA-led event series is designed to spotlight the power of creator-driven commerce. Each edition gathers a curated group of top-tier creators and brand partners for a dynamic afternoon of networking, knowledge-sharing, and exclusive collaboration opportunities.
Following the success of recent events in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Dallas — including a record-breaking turnout total of over 1000 creators — the Creator Bash is rapidly becoming a cornerstone of TikTok Shop’s community and commerce strategy.
