Despite the recent Blue Origin launch failure, AST SpaceMobile still expects to have 45 BlueBird satellites in orbit this year. "We have 33 satellites in advanced stages of production at the factory. So it was a loss, we’re on to the next,” CSO Scott Wisniewski told investors. AST SpaceMobile is “optimistic” about New Glenn returning to the launch pad soon. https://lnkd.in/epw-mfY7

SES's latest financial results were in line with analyst expectations, with mobility and aviation underpinning strong growth in the Networks business. But the operator is cutting back on GEO investments, canceling IS-41 and IS-44. Intelsat ordered both satellites from Thales Alenia Space in 2022. "We’ve taken some pretty hard decisions on which satellites we need in our fleet, which satellites can use life extension vehicles, and therefore which satellites we no longer need to procure,” CFO Lisa Pataki told investors. https://lnkd.in/e8MiGTTD
