We strive to close the portion of the opportunity gap that excludes these children from enriching experiences that inspire them to think creatively, discover their passions, and dream without limits. Since its inception in 1994, Tickets for Kids has distributed millions of tickets to children participating in social service programs throughout the United States.

This sweet match has been paired for 5.5 years! Sherry said, "We wanted to support the Minnesota Frost in their playoffs." She said that her mentee, Clara, "was very interested in learning about women's hockey and talked to the Frost fans sitting around us. It was fun to learn the supportive chants: 'Brrrr... it's cold in here! There must be some Frost in the atmosphere!'" It's so great that through outings offered by Tickets for Kids young people are able to experience new things that connect them to their greater community and create a space for mentor matches to have fun and enjoy being together. "My son and two of his best buddies had an amazing experience this Saturday at the Washington Defenders game. Being that all 3 of them are getting ready for football season, they took great joy in pointing out the players who are playing the position they hope to be in. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and the thrilling plays. It was joyful to watch these young men experience something outside of the neighborhood that would inspire them to see that there is more to life than the confines of the city. They really had a great time and were anxious about the next time we can attend. I am extremely grateful to the program for providing us with this opportunity. The boys had a blast."
We're a little biased and therefore cheering for our friend, Minnesota Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert in the National Basketball Association (NBA) Playoff game tonight! Not only did Rudy and his team at Rudy's Kids Foundation invite our kids to every Timberwolves game this season, but they made sure the kids could have the playoff experience! Notes directly to Rudy from the kids: Age 11: "You are doing such a great job! Keep working hard and you'll win!" Age 7: "Come to our community center and play 1:1 basketball with us - we're really good." Age 14: "This is the best day of my life and I cannot believe I am here." Moments matter.
