Commenting is the most underleveraged lead generation tool on LinkedIn. And almost nobody is doing it properly. Shoutout to our co-founder, Josh S., for the breakdown. Leaving "great post, thanks for sharing" does nothing. It gives the algorithm no reason to surface you and gives the reader no reason to click your profile. If you have been putting time into LinkedIn and getting nothing back, this is for you. It's called the S.T.A.R. Framework. And it's the tool we have taught to 750+ founders to turn daily comments into real conversations and inbound leads. 🔍 S - Specific Observation Pick a point from the post. Being specific shows you read it and have a view worth engaging with. 🔗 T - Tie to Experience Connect that point to something you have lived through. Most founders are using AI to write LinkedIn posts. And they wonder why they all sound the same. Credit to our good friend Nader Alnajjar for the idea here. The problem isn't the tool. It's the system behind it. Here's how to set Claude up so it writes in your voice: 1️⃣ Create a dedicated Claude Project Open Claude, create a new project, and name it something like "LinkedIn Content." Keep all your content work inside it. Claude holds context across sessions, So you aren't re-briefing it every time you open a new chat. 2️⃣ Write your Project instructions Tell Claude exactly who you are, who you write for, what you sell, What results you have generated, and what topics you cover. The more specific your setup, the less editing you do on the other side. 3️⃣ Upload your tone documents Add your best 5 to 10 posts, a list of phrases you never use, and any brand guidelines you have. Claude needs to see what your writing looks like before it can get close to replicating it. 4️⃣ Define your post structure Give Claude a clear brief on what each section of a post should do: ↳ Hook: Direct and scroll-stopping. ↳ Re-hook: One line that pulls the reader deeper. ↳ Intro: A scenario or tension point your ICP recognises immediately. ↳ Value: Specific, actionable, and structured. ↳ Closing line: A unique insight that ties everything together. ↳ CTA: One clear next step. 5️⃣ Show good and bad examples Include examples of posts you love and posts you don't, and explain why. A bad example with context is more useful than 3 extra paragraphs of instructions. 6️⃣ Build a prompt template Every post brief should include the topic, target audience, Goal, hook direction, and where the CTA points. 7️⃣ Edit everything manually Claude handles the structure. The stories and specifics all have to come from you. That's what makes it worth reading. A well-built Claude system saves hours every week and keeps your content consistent. But the system only works if the strategy behind it is right. Once you have this in place, the right people start finding your content, Visiting your profile, and reaching out. But building the system is only half of it. You still need the strategy to back it up. Most founders with an audience still are not making money from it. And it is rarely the reason they think. The real issue is that most founders jump straight to "how do I sell more", Without ever stopping to ask where the actual breakdown is happening. Credit to Nader Alnajjar for the breakdown here. Before you touch your offer, work through this in order: ➡️ Can you explain in one sentence who you help and how? ➡️ Do you know what your audience struggles with? ➡️ Do you have something to offer them, even just a free resource to start? ➡️ Can your audience find that offer directly from your content? ➡️ Are people entering your funnel but not buying? Each of those is a different problem with a completely different fix. If your positioning is not clear, no offer will convert, No matter how good it is. If there is no path from your content to your offer, People will never find it. If people are entering the funnel but not buying, That's a conversion problem.
