What happens when you open the doors to the next generation? You don’t just show them what you do; you show them what’s possible.   That spirit came to life at Terumo on April 23 during #TakeYourChildToWorkDay at our headquarters in Somerset, New Jersey.   The day was designed to inspire. From learning about Japanese culture and folding origami cranes to designing photo frames and leaving their mark on campus with painted rocks, our future leaders got hands-on with creativity and culture.   They shared lunch with their parents, stepped into real work through shadowing and saw what purpose-driven work looks like up close.   Then we let them be kids – obstacle courses, relay races and ice cream. There was energy everywhere.   But none of it was possible without the people behind the scenes. A sincere thank you to our associate volunteers who showed up, poured into this experience and made the day unforgettable.   You didn’t just plan activities. Congratulations are in order for Jeannie Epps, Ph.D., Director of Materials Science & Testing in Product Development. On April 13, Jeannie was inducted into the 2026 Class of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) College of Fellows at the organization’s annual event in Arlington, VA. Based in Elkton, MD, Jeannie is recognized among the leading minds in medical and biological engineering. Her peers honored her for pioneering contributions to medical device innovation, advancing biomedical engineering education and strengthening clinical partnerships. Well done, Jeannie!
