In recognition of #EarthDay, BD, in partnership with Planet Water Foundation, installed a new AquaTower water filtration system in the Santa Teresa community in Huehuetoca, Mexico, which now provides reliable access to safe drinking water for 650 primary school students and more than 4,000 community members. During #globalvolunteermonth, BD volunteers traveled to Huehuetoca to help address the challenges of an increasingly water scarce region and strengthen the community's resilience. Together, BD volunteers and Planet Water Foundation have implemented more than a dozen AquaTower systems globally, reinforcing the importance of safe drinking water for a healthy, thriving community.
