I entered this crazy world of retail back in 1991, (yes, I am old) 35 years ago. In 2000, my wife (Monika) and I started Sennco out of our basement. Neither one of us have a college degree. We are proof the American Dream is still alive and well. By God’s good grace we survived some of the unthinkable over 25 years. I will only mention a few: - We survived customers (retailers) like Circuit City, Sharper Image, Radio Shack, Blockbuster, K-Mart, and many more filing bankruptcy - The 2008 Great Recession - Supply Chain delays - Unheard of labor increases - COVID - We learned by making many mistakes (never have commercial real estate cross collateralized with your main business, it can wipe you out) I have learned so much. I have met so many people around the world; many I call “friend”. I am a huge proponent of TEAM. Monika and I could not have survived and thrived without our TEAM over the years. It is with them and because of them we still thrive today. I am so proud of you all, past and present. To our suppliers over the years, thank you all for your support and for always striving to help us carve out business in the everchanging world of retail. To my beautiful wife, I couldn't have done it without you. You and I started this together, argued a lot, laughed a lot, risked a lot, sacrificed a lot but we always accepted the good times and the bad times together. Love you, Babe! It is with great joy; I announce that we are now part of the ASSA ABLOY family. Our journey of serving retailers will grow globally with the help of the InVue team. Over the last few months, I have had the opportunity to learn more about InVue and their leadership team. We all agree that we complement each other very well.
