Leading up to Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) employees from the U.S., Canada and Mexico came together in this year’s Samsung Accessibility Festival Week (AFW), for interactive sessions and exhibitions to raise awareness of the power of accessibility. As part of the campaign, coworkers from the U.S. and Canada got a chance to explore Accessibility Exhibition Zones to learn more about the importance of digital inclusion. These live demonstrations of Samsung’s newest accessibility features provided interactive activities that highlighted the many ways technology can better support people with visual, auditory, motor and cognitive disabilities. We also partnered with The Stray Point Project to support the incredible artists behind their mission to empower individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities through art. We’re grateful for our True Ability Affinity Group for helping champion accessibility awareness and inclusion across Samsung. Their advocacy and partnership continue to foster meaningful conversations and help create a more inclusive workplace and customer experience for all. And a special thanks to Access USA AudioEye Havas Disability:IN & GAAD (Global Accessibility Awareness Day) Foundation for helping make our 1st Regional Campaign a success!
