The Road Home Program at Rush is proud to once again partner with the Soldier Field 10 as a charity partner for the 2026 race. On Saturday, May 23, our team will be on-site supporting race-day operations, connecting with participants, and helping collect bib tabs alongside volunteers from across the Chicago community. We’re also honored that Joseph Z. from the Road Home Program will deliver the kickoff speech before the start of the event. The Soldier Field 10 brings together thousands of runners and supporters each year, creating an opportunity to highlight the importance of accessible mental health care and community support for veterans, service members, and military families. The Road Home Program provides evidence-based mental health care at no out-of-pocket cost to veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, regardless of discharge status. We invite our partners, supporters, colleagues, and community members to join us by: • Registering to run • Volunteering on race day • Visiting the Road Home Program tent at Soldier Field 📅 Saturday, May 23, 2026 📍 Soldier Field, Chicago Registration and volunteer information: To Run: https://lnkd.in/gVzctQrA To Volunteer: https://lnkd.in/g59tuYNf #VeteranSupport #MilitaryFamilies #MentalHealth #Chicago #RoadHomeProgram #SoldierField10 #CommunityPartnerships #Volunteerism

Recently, the Road Home Program team spent time across San Diego County meeting with veterans, service members, military families, providers, civic leaders, and community organizations. Our goal was to increase awareness of no-cost, evidence-based mental health care available through Road Home, while listening directly to the people and organizations already serving the military-connected community in Southern California. Throughout the week, our team connected with partners and leaders across the region, including the City of San Diego Veteran Engagement team, San Diego Vet Center, San Marcos Vet Center, Temecula Vet Center, VA San Diego contacts, Fleet & Family Support Centers, Naval Base Coronado, Naval Base San Diego, Camp Pendleton, MCAS Miramar, Support The Enlisted Project (STEP), Courage to Call, Crux Wilderness Therapy, Wounded Warrior Project, Team Rubicon, San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC), Invictus Games San Diego 2029 leaders, Navy SEAL Foundation, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) leaders, student veteran programs, and many others who shared their time, insight, and support. We are grateful to everyone who met with us, welcomed us into their spaces, attended a Salute & Social, joined us at Chow Call, made introductions, asked thoughtful questions, and helped us better understand the needs of the San Diego military and veteran community. This visit helped us build new relationships, strengthen existing pathways, and lay the groundwork for future collaboration. The conversations we had will help guide how we continue serving veterans, service members, and families in Southern California. Thank you, San Diego. We look forward to staying connected and continuing this work together. #RoadHomeProgram #Veterans #MilitaryFamilies #SanDiego #MentalHealth #PTSD #MilitaryCommunity #CommunityPartnerships #VeteranSupport

The Road Home Program is proud to attend the 6th Annual Veteran and Charitable Organization Symposium at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. This important event brings together veteran-serving and charitable organizations to strengthen collaboration in support of wounded, ill, and injured Marines, Sailors, and their families. We value opportunities like this to connect with partners, share resources, and expand access to care for those who have served. Our team members Modie and Alejandra will be representing the Road Home Program and engaging with organizations dedicated to helping service members transition, heal, and thrive. We appreciate the continued partnership of those working to serve the military community. #Veterans #MilitaryCommunity #CampLejeune #MarineCorps #RoadHomeProgram #BehavioralHealth #Partnerships #SupportVeterans

The Road Home Program Outreach Team is deploying to San Diego this week for a coordinated, multi-day engagement effort across Southern California. From April 13–17, our team will be meeting with VA partners, military installations, community organizations, and local leaders to strengthen referral pathways and expand access to mental health care for veterans and their families. This initiative reflects a broader strategy focused on building sustained regional partnerships and increasing awareness in areas where access to care remains underutilized. In addition to partner meetings, we will be hosting a series of community-based events designed to foster connection and provide direct access to information about available services. If you are based in the San Diego area and interested in connecting, we welcome the opportunity. View the full event lineup: 👉 https://lnkd.in/gZthS-3Q Joseph Z.
