"The laptop will help me a lot! I’ve never even turned a laptop on so I’ll learn a lot. Everything is digital now so being able to learn how to store and access everything online will be great!” — participant in the Literacy for Life Foundation program Stories like this are exactly why giving technology a second life matters. We’re proud to support Reconciliation NSW by providing 20 laptops to expand access to digital learning opportunities within the community, helping students build digital skills, engage in online learning, and navigate an increasingly digital world. We’re excited to see the impact these devices will continue to have in the community!

Revivn reposted this
At Block, expanding access to the financial system includes helping ensure the next generation has the tools they need to participate in it. Through our collaboration with Revivn, we are extending the lifecycle of our hardware and helping more devices reach students and communities that can benefit from them. Enormous thanks to Ahmed Ali Bob, David Hu, Jenni Lewis, John Porter, Joseph Jackson, Maggie Helmes, Sarah Dames, Leslie Pitterson and Soleil Acree for their partnership and leadership on this important work! In 2025, Block worked with Revivn to share nearly 4,000 laptops across 21 locations. More than 3,500 of those devices were repurposed, refurbished for continued use or prepared for donation, helping put functional technology back into the hands of people who need it. As part of our ongoing work together, Block is supporting Revivn to help distribute devices through community organizations working directly with students. So far, Block’s financial resourcing and support have been allocated to partners including Trajectory of Hope in Los Angeles, 826NYC, 826DC, Oakland Public Education Fund, and Enterprise for Youth in San Francisco. Spread out across the country, these organizations work closely with students to support learning, mentorship, and access to opportunities, making them critical partners in ensuring devices reach those who need them most. https://lnkd.in/gMZK9-WS

Today is Earth Day 🌍 But at Revivn, protecting the planet isn’t a one-day conversation, it’s built into everything we do. By extending the life of devices, repurposing tech, and preventing e-waste, we move one step closer to a more circular and responsible future. Technology shouldn’t come at the cost of the environment. It should be part of the solution. This Earth Day, we’re proud to help companies rethink how they manage IT, reducing waste, maximizing value, and making sustainability actionable. #EarthDay #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #ITAssetManagement #Revivn

Earth Day is approaching. A moment to reflect on how we think about sustainability and the impact of our everyday decisions. E-waste is increasing faster than any other waste stream, rising by an estimated 3–5% each year. As organizations continue to upgrade and replace technology, the volume of retired devices keeps growing, along with the opportunity to manage them more responsibly. At Revivn, we work with companies to extend the life of IT assets through reuse and repurposing, helping reduce waste while creating meaningful environmental and social impact. Earth Day serves as a reminder that sustainability is not just about long-term goals, but also about the choices we make today, including how we handle the technology we no longer use.
