What a week it’s been! We here at Qualia are riding a high from having joined our peers in the title & escrow industry in Kansas City this week for the National Settlement Services Summit (NS3), hosted by October Research, LLC. What stood out most at this fantastic event? The people, and the unmistakable sense that our industry moves forward together. That spirit pervaded the summit. It was in the panel discussion, "Aligned in Action," where Charlotte Brown, Qualia's VP of Product & Design, joined Rick Diamond, VP of Information Technology, Agency Operations at Fidelity National Financial, to dig into two of the most urgent matters facing the industry: AI adoption and wire fraud. Attendees jumped into this interactive discussion. It was a genuine, honest conversation about issues no single company can navigate alone, and a reminder that our industry's best answers come from the industry as a whole. It was in the 230+ care kits packed for foster children and youth in the Kansas City area through the Make a Child Smile community outreach event, done in collaboration with Jackson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Qualia was proud to sponsor the effort, and to see so many attendees, Qualians included, pitch in. It was in a networking reception at a CPKC Stadium, an arena unlike any other because it’s the first in the world designed and built specifically for women's sports. It was a fitting backdrop for an industry ready for what comes next. (With Kansas City serving as a host city for the FIFA World Cup next month, the soccer energy was especially vibrant). And it was in the conversations we had— the demos we gave and the questions we fielded from customers and partners. It all showed a level of curiosity and momentum that reminded us of why our industry’s work matters so deeply. Our title & escrow community is something special. These are professionals who take seriously what it means to protect people's most significant financial moments. When we come together like this, good things happen. Thank you to October Research for bringing the industry together, to Jackson County CASA for the important work you do every day, and to everyone who stopped by, asked hard questions, and shared what's on your mind. Until next time!
