We’re proud to have partnered with Services for the UnderServed and their Urban Farms®️ program alongside Minjung Park and Siona Schmid to support meaningful change in our community. The Pride Health team joined efforts at the 34th Street location to help transform the backyard space for residents and staff supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Together, we cleared overgrown areas, prepared garden beds, planted vegetables, herbs, flowers, and even a new apple tree—creating a more welcoming and restorative outdoor environment. Seeing the excitement from the team and residents throughout the process—and especially after the transformation—was incredibly rewarding. We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute and look forward to continuing our work with S to give back and strengthen our communities. 🌱💚

Pride Health staff partnered with the S:US Urban Farms® team and program to transform the backyard at the 34th Street location. Together, we removed a lot of weeds (Japanese knotweed is insane), prepared garden beds, planted vegetables, fresh herbs, flowers, and a new apple tree, cleared out the backyard, and removed old wood. Now the residents and staff at the 34th Street location have a beautiful, welcoming outdoor space to enjoy. Seeing the staff's excitement when we arrived—and again once the work was complete—was truly rewarding.
