Last up: REEACH. At our REEACH booth (Booth # 1142), we’ll be sharing PCI’s work on SOFCs for Flight, focused on advanced solid oxide fuel cell system technology for mobility. This effort builds on PCI’s earlier REEACH work to develop a high-specific-power, high-efficiency energy storage and power generation approach for transportation applications, with emphasis on system efficiency, scale-up, and operation across key mobility conditions. Precision Combustion, Inc. will be at the 2026 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit in San Diego, California, April 7–9, with three booths highlighting projects from AMPLIFY, REEACH, and JOULES-1K. Next up: JOULES-1K. At our JOULES-1K booth (Booth # 1006), we’ll be sharing PCI’s work on Electrochemical Microchip Paired with Energetic Fuels for MWh Electrified Propulsion (EMPoWEr), a hybrid fuel cell-battery system designed to deliver high energy density for electrified propulsion. PCI’s approach combines its ProtonBridge electrochemical microchip-based power module with a small rechargeable battery and balance-of-plant components to provide a scalable pathway toward JOULES-1K targets. We’ll also be discussing how this architecture uses the high energy density of onboard fuels to move beyond battery-only gravimetric limits, with the potential to deliver up to 6X higher gravimetric energy density than leading battery-only approaches while preserving the operational benefits of electric drivetrains. Precision Combustion, Inc. will be at the 2026 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit in San Diego, California, April 7–9, with three booths highlighting projects from AMPLIFY, REEACH, and JOULES-1K. First up: AMPLIFY. At our AMPLIFY booth (Booth # 1237), we’ll be highlighting pilot testing and validation data of our trailer mounted, catalytic oxidation system for ventilation air methane (VAM) abatement, currently being tested at an underground coal mine site. The system has been in operation for ~6,200 hours (to date) with up to 99% DRE. We’ll also have a virtual reality (VR) experience at the booth, giving attendees a closer look at PCI’s demo unit in an immersive, on-site setting.
