Just spent 3 days at Web Summit Vancouver with the ASMBL team. Naturally, everyone is talking about AI. But the real conversation is all about intent. What is AI-native? How do you actually build it? Not bolt it on. Not run a pilot. Build it in. Courtney Fukuda at Metropolis Technologies landed the line of the week for me: "If you remove the AI from your product, is it less good, or does it exist at all?" AI should be built to enhance an experience. Create efficiencies to open space for meaningful work. Not vibe code to replace an existing solution just to claim you're in the game. That's the test. Companies know they need to move. Most don't know where to start. That's exactly the work we do at ASMBL. Good timing to be in this room. ~ Graham Smith Hailey Clark Jeremy Norberg ~

Another exciting day for our team -- Metropolis Technologies was named to the CNBC Disruptor 50 list for the second consecutive year. When we made this list last year, the world was looking at our ambition. This year, they're looking at our execution (and with 26M+ members, have probably experienced it themselves). This is further validation that we're on the right path. We didn't disrupt an industry. We built one from the ground up. Congratulations - and thank you to all of our Metropolites. https://lnkd.in/e6XWqiW8

  • With the 2026 National Football League (NFL) schedule now released, fans are already planning the moments that make football season special. Metropolis is proud to support game day parking, mobility, and venue operations for NFL teams across the country, helping create a more organized arrival and departure experience before and after kickoff. For the 2026 season, our NFL partnerships include: Chicago Bears Los Angeles Chargers Washington Commanders Philadelphia Eagles Atlanta Falcons New York Football Giants New York Jets Los Angeles Rams Baltimore Ravens Our role is simple: build the teams, plans, and technology that help fans get to the game, get home safely, and focus on the experience they came for.

  • Co-founder & Chief Integration Officer Courtney Fukuda returned to Web Summit for the second year — one of the world’s largest tech gatherings with 20,000+ attendees and a global stage for industry-defining conversations. Metropolis hit the stage twice in Vancouver: First, on Center Stage’s “How to Win in AI,” where Courtney joined a founder panel in a packed arena with a conversation focused on building durable, AI-first companies. Later, she led the Marketing Summit session “Hyperscaling a Brand,” on scaling from startup to category leader without losing mission or identity. Drawing on rapid growth, major acquisitions, and her work as Chief Integration Officer, she delivered actionable lessons for growth and resilience. These sessions highlighted the practical impact Metropolis Technologies is delivering across applied AI in the real world and we're proud to be among the industry-shaping conversations at Web Summit.

I am thrilled to share that Metropolis has been named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list for 2026 in the Disruptors category. To be recognized alongside pioneers like Anthropic, OpenAI and SpaceX is a significant honor. This recognition belongs to our 23,000+ Metropolites across 300+ markets who work tirelessly to solve real-world problems with AI. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to our capital partners, who believed in the Metropolis vision when it was just a concept and helped us scale into the global operating company we are today, including Eldridge Capital Management, LionTree Growth Equity, 3L Capital, Assembly Ventures, Vista Credit, BDT & MSD, Up.Partners, SLW, Fin Capital, Slow Ventures, Zigg Capital, Halogen Ventures, Zero Infinity Partners and Dragoneer amongst many others! As an entrepreneur, I’m inspired by builders. Today, I spoke at Stripe's SaaS Platform Leaders Summit with Emily Glassberg Sands and Danielle Cohen-Shohet — a reminder that the best ideas come from innovators who challenge the status quo. We dug into what’s no longer hypothetical: AI is not just an add-on to commerce and SaaS — it’s recasting the business model itself. From agentic commerce that autonomously creates value for customers, to the realities of how operators implement AI products, the leap is strategic, not merely technical. At Metropolis, that strategy looks like designing AI-native infrastructure from day one — not retrofitting features, but reimagining the customer journey end to end. It was always our goal to build a product that stands the test of time. The result isn’t incremental improvement - it's the Recognition Economy, product experiences that scale for our Members in ways legacy architectures simply can’t match. Thank you to the team at Stripe - particularly John Collison and Patrick Collison for the invitation and for creating spaces for these conversations.

  • Thanks Turner Novak for the conversation about how applied AI plus operating scale modernized an old, ubiquitous industry—parking—and how we plan to exapnd seamless, recognition-driven experience to the real world. As Metropolis Technologies co-founder and CEO Alex Israel explains, we’re focused right now on delivering clear consumer value, combining technology with real-world distribution, and building the infrastructure that enables capital markets to reward simple, compelling narratives. 🎧🍌 New podcast out today with Alex Israel, Co-founder and CEO of Metropolis Technologies Metropolis is a nine year old startup that happens to be the largest operator of parking lots in the world. We unpack their venture growth buyout / AI rollup playbook that's raised billions to acquire legacy parking assets. We also talk about why parking never institutionalized as an asset class, why its perfectly positioned to be hubs for autonomous vehicles and robots, and using technology to make parking assets more valuable. Thanks to Numeral, Flex, and Amplitude for supporting this episode. Quick preview here, link to full episode in the comments!
