Merlin is planning to bring its AI-powered autonomy to commercial cargo. Today we announced Merlin Pilot for Commercial Cargo, part of Condor, our new product family that aims to bring the same autonomy core advancing through military airworthiness on the C-130J to large, multi-crew civil and military aircraft. The opportunity is significant. Boeing projects the global cargo fleet will grow from roughly 2,340 aircraft today to nearly 3,900 over the next two decades, with more than 2,800 production and conversion deliveries forecasted. Merlin Pilot is being designed to integrate into aircraft operators already own, managing systems, monitoring the environment, and handling communications from takeoff to touchdown, so crews can focus where human judgment matters most. The foundation is already proven with hundreds of flights logged across multiple platforms, an ongoing civil certification path, and a Preliminary Design Review successfully completed for the C-130J with USSOCOM. We’re proud to be collaborating with World Star Aviation, a leading freighter lessor, and are developing additional relationships with key players in the commercial cargo conversion market.
