A special thank you to the organizers and to everyone who joined Aziz Abu Sarah for a conversation about travel as a tool for connection, understanding, and peacebuilding. It was inspiring to spend time with advisors, partners, and industry leaders who are thinking deeply about the future of travel and the role we all play in shaping it. Thank you for having us, Ensemble. We’re leaving energized, hopeful, and excited for what’s ahead for the travel industry and the communities we serve.
If Day 1 set the tone, Day 2 took it to another level. We covered a lot of ground, starting with a packed panel on the future of cruise (one of the fastest-growing segments right now), led by Range by Ensemble Magazine Editor-in-Chief Dominique Lamberton and featuring insights from Virgin Voyages, Azamara Cruises and Princess Cruises. Big ideas, real takeaways, and a clear message: cruise is evolving fast, and advisors are right at the center of it. A big thank you to ASTA - American Society of Travel Advisors and ACTA - Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors for speaking to our community and reminding us why our industry voice matters. Then came a moment that shifted the entire room. Aziz Abu Sarah, co-founder of Mejdi Tours took the stage and reminded everyone that travel is about so much more than bookings. As a global peacebuilder and National Geographic Explorer, he challenged us to think differently about what travel means, why it matters and the role advisors play in creating experiences that can truly change lives. In between? Nonstop momentum. Masterclass sessions designed for every stage of the advisor journey from those just getting started to seasoned pros. One-on-one conversations with top partners. And a candid Member/Partner fireside chat unpacking the new tiered framework and what it really means for driving value, support and profitability. And because this is Horizons… We wrapped it all up with a Cinco de Mayo celebration with guac, margaritas, and everyone's favorite Mexican dishes for a well-earned evening of fun after a full day of learning, connecting and building. This is what makes Horizons different. Big ideas. Real conversations. A community that shows up.
