Mission Valley Mall in San Diego is transforming into something new. To mark the property’s evolution, the center is being renamed The Valley, a reflection of its place at the convergence of several vibrant local communities. In partnership with Real Capital Solutions, a new vision is taking shape as we transform the 1.1-million-square-foot retail center into a dynamic lifestyle village, with refreshed common areas and plazas designed to create an engaging experience for visitors. As part of this reimagination, California’s first DICK’S House of Sport will join the growing roster of top-tier tenants at The Valley. The 158,000-square-foot concept will occupy the historic former Macy’s building, making it one of the largest House of Sport locations in the country, blending original architectural elements with modern design to honor the past while looking ahead. With construction underway and additional phases to come, we’re excited to help shape a destination where retail meets experience, and bring a new era of Mission Valley to life. Thank you to Town and Country Resort for hosting Lowe and CoralTree Hospitality for our spring management meeting this week. We kicked off our first evening with a friendly cornhole competition, amazing dinner, and delicious cocktails. Congratulations to our cornhole 1st place champions Robert Vahhabaghai and Miles Gordon. 🏆 As well as Paul Gryfakis and Curtis Bova in 2nd place and John Nolan, RA and Stacey Brogan in 3rd place.

This month, Martin helped chaperone his son's 8th grade class trip through Washington, D.C., New York City, and Boston, creating memories together as they explored some of the country’s most historic landmarks. As a ULI San Francisco Steering Committee member, Vy Pham, Lowe VP, joined fellow members last week at ULI SF’s 9th Housing the Bay Summit. At the Summit, leaders from across the industry gathered for timely conversations on capital markets, climate resilience and recovery, technological innovation, housing advocacy, and more.
