🗓️ 🥕 💚 We just wrapped our annual Customer Love Month at Instacart! Over four weeks, our employees stepped into the shoes of our customers - and our partners - to experience our platform firsthand. Each week brought its own focus: watching real consumers navigate live meal planning, exploring how our retail and ads partners use AI to shape the shopper journey, going behind the scenes on our omnichannel technology, and hearing directly from shoppers on their experiences and what it takes to deliver outstanding service. We also dove into the shopper experience, completing real batches as part of our annual Shopathon. And the entire time, we were raising money for non-profit organizations in the US and Canada — because everyone deserves access to the food they need. Thanks to everyone who participated. We’re already planning for next year!

Based on 2025 purchase data, here's what was really going into carts: 🌸 Over Half of Gift Orders Included Flowers: Mother's Day is the # 2 day for flower purchases on Instacart all year – and combination bouquets led the way. 🦞 Forget the Reservation: Lobster Tails (+193%), Filet Mignon (+114%), and Cheesecake (+131%) all spiked, pointing to a wave of families cooking gourmet for mom at home. 🗺️ Every State Has a Favorite Flower: Roses ruled the South and West, tulips dominated the Northeast (Montana was the ultimate outlier at +155%), and Florida went all-in on orchids at +231%. 🏝️ Hawaii Goes All In: The Aloha State ranked # 1 in the country for the share of orders marked as gifts on Mother's Day – nobody celebrates mom quite like Hawaii.
