Children with special health care needs deserve care designed around them, not around a fragmented system. In a recent Q&A with Urban Health Today, hosted by Rebecca Araujo, our CEO George Boghos shares how Imagine Pediatrics is reimagining pediatric health care through a tech-enabled, multidisciplinary, virtual and in-home model built specifically for children with special health care needs. From 24/7 access to pediatric care in under two minutes, to personalized care pathways that address medical, behavioral, and social needs together, this work is helping families spend more Safe Days at Home and less unnecessary time in the hospital. A few key themes from the conversation: ✨ Personalized care matters ✨ Multidisciplinary collaboration improves outcomes ✨ Virtual care can close geographic gaps ✨ Social needs are deeply connected to health outcomes ✨ Value-based care should focus on the right care at the right time “We are big believers in multidisciplinary care... putting that together in a collaborative way is what’s best for families and patients.” — George Boghos Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/eBzckXhe to learn more about the future of pediatric care and how technology, data, and collaboration can better support children and caregivers. #Pediatrics #HealthcareInnovation #VirtualCare #ValueBasedCare #CareCoordination #BehavioralHealth #HealthcareTechnology #Medicaid #ChildrenFirst

Two o'clock in the morning. A child who cannot speak is in distress. Their parent is the only signal the medical system has to work with. That scene came up at CareConference, in a session on pediatric complex care. Taylor Beery from Imagine Pediatrics was describing an asymmetry few people outside the field appreciate. Helping an aging parent navigate the system is hard. Helping a non-verbal child whose body is failing in the dark — with school in five hours and a sibling in the next room — is a different category of hard. The social picture is even heavier. Mom has lost her job to due to being in the hospital too much. Dad is close behind. They are in line at Target, kids screaming, one of them medically complex, trying to hold the rest of their life together. The point Taylor made on stage is that comprehensive care for children with medical complexity is not a longer appointment. It is a 24/7 wrap built for a lifelong cost curve and a lifelong human experience. That is what care, at the deep end, actually looks like. That's the work Imagine Pediatrics is doing. Full episode in the comments.

Children with special health care needs live in the space between stability and crisis yet our healthcare system is still built to respond to acute events rather than provide continuous, coordinated support. A child may see multiple specialists, remain stable for months, and then experience a sudden change triggered by something as common as an infection. Too often, caregivers are left navigating fragmented systems on their own, without consistent, real-time support. Despite representing nearly half of pediatric healthcare spending, many families still lack access to proactive, integrated care that evolves with their child’s needs. What's needed is a fundamentally different model. Our Chief Innovation & Administrative Officer and Co-Founder, Taylor Beery, recently spoke with Martin Cech at Health Tech Nerds about how we're delivering 24/7 integrated virtual and in-home care for more than 70,000 children through multidisciplinary teams and personalized, longitudinal support across medical, behavioral, and social health. This model has contributed to 5,000+ avoided emergency and urgent care visits and provided more Safe Days at Home. We have liftoff. 🚀 This year, our team came together from across the country to connect, recharge, and launch boldly into what’s next. For a few days, we stepped away from the day-to-day to focus on what matters most: Reimagining pediatric health care. Together. Here’s what that looked like through our values: 💙 Children first Every conversation, breakout, and idea came back to one goal: creating more Safe Days at Home for children and families with special health care needs. This clarity shapes how we prioritize, solve problems, and make decisions. 🤝 Earn trust We listened first, learned from each other, and strengthened the relationships that power our work. 💡 Innovate today From collaborative sessions to our AI-focused hackathon, teams leaned into curiosity, exploring new ideas and practical improvements that will drive real impact for families. 🌱 Embrace humanity We showed up as our authentic selves, building connection through empathy, openness, and shared experiences (and a little fun along the way 🎤🕺). 🌍 One team, diverse perspectives Across roles, regions, and disciplines, we brought different viewpoints to the table and stayed aligned on what matters most. We left energized, aligned, and ready for what’s ahead! #ChildrenFirst #ReimaginingCare #Pediatrics #Hiring #Culture #HealthcareInnovation #Leadership #HealthTech
