About us

When illness reaches advanced stages and comfort and dignity become most important, Hope Hospice is a trusted and nurturing guide. Our professional team honors the patient's wishes, helps families understand what to expect, and provides solutions for the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of hospice patients and families. Complimentary consultations are available as is grief support for adults and youth in the community, even if their late loved one was not a Hope patient. Hope is nonprofit; costs are covered by Medicare/Medi-Cal, private insurance, and charitable donations. We invite you to explore our website for more information about caring for someone with a terminal illness. To make a referral to Hope Hospice, to schedule a free confidential in-home visit, or to talk with one of our staff members, please call us at (925) 829-8770 or 1-800-HOSPICE. Visit us online at HopeHospice.com. • Today is National Healthcare Decisions Day, an initiative to inspire, educate, and empower the public and healthcare providers about the importance of advance care planning. Research shows that almost 9 out of every 10 people are aware of advance care planning and believe it is important. However, only about 3 out of every 10 people have taken part in the process or completed any advance directives. Planning ahead is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give to yourself and your loved ones. Taking time to think about your healthcare wishes, choosing a trusted decision-maker, and documenting your preferences can bring clarity and peace of mind during life’s most difficult moments. At Hope Hospice, we’re here to support individuals and families through these important conversations with compassion and guidance every step of the way. #NHDD #HealthcareDecisionsDay #AdvanceCarePlanning
