How do referrals work? 1. Your primary care provider sends a referral and your medical records to the specialist’s office. 2. The specialist’s office may call you to schedule, or you can call them. Processing times may vary. 3. After your visit, the specialist develops a treatment plan, which may need prior authorization.

Should I use a charitable giving strategy or structure? Five primary policy changes that went into effect at the beginning of the year will likely shape philanthropy in the coming years. Your Evidence of Coverage (EOC) is an important legal document that explains how your health plan works. It tells you about your benefits, rights and responsibilities, as well as what services are covered or not covered. Think of it as a map that shows how decisions about your care and coverage are made. It helps you understand what your plan includes and what steps to take when you need care. You can find your EOC by logging onto our website, navigating to the Member Service & Support page and clicking on Plan Information: https://lnkd.in/ghMDNkHi
