Associate Spotlight: Arianna Williams, Field Engineer Technician  “One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced at work is communication. Nothing I do is important if I can’t communicate with the rest of my team, so I started learning Spanish. For a year, I immersed myself in the language, watched videos, and learned simple and informative phrases. When I was at work, I would talk to everyone, whether they spoke English or not. Now, some of my coworkers say I’m fluent!” 

Our team recently hosted tours for Clemson University’s Construction Science & Management program and Construction Women’s group as precast erection got underway on April 13. Students had the opportunity to see the project in progress, something they don’t often get to experience, and ask questions while work is actively happening on site. Early exposure like this helps connect the classroom to the field. 

Associate Spotlight: Gabriela Gonzalez, Sr. Project Controls Engineer  “What I like most about my role is the trust and responsibility placed in me. While engineers at every level own their trade and sometimes work independently, stepping into a Senior Engineer role fortifies the level of trust and expectations that your team and leadership have for you.” 

Safety Week Spotlight: Madalyn O'Dell "My favorite part of working with our trade partners is experiencing how maintaining good relationships pays off in dividends. Great relationships establish and maintain culture, make the jobsite more fun, and encourage collaboration to keep workers safe each day.

Construction Safety Week is in full swing! 🦺👷    At EdgeCore, the safety of our team, customers, partners and vendors is our number one priority.
