Serving, Learning, and Exploring in Belize 💙 What an incredible experience participating in our service-learning trip to Belize led by Dr. Alexis Best-Rhodes! During our time there, we had the opportunity to visit two remote communities — Valley of Peace and Harmonyville — where we performed wellness checks and connected with residents in meaningful ways. It was an honor to serve these communities while gaining a deeper appreciation for global health, cultural awareness, and the importance of compassionate care. In addition to our service work, we explored the historic Xunantunich Archaeological Site and visited the beautiful Caye Caulker Island. One of the most unforgettable experiences was snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters and swimming alongside sharks and stingrays — an adventure that pushed many of us outside of our comfort zones and created memories we will never forget! 🦈🌊 From learning about Belizean culture and history to building lifelong memories with an amazing group, this trip was truly impactful both personally and professionally. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, serve, and grow through this incredible experience. 💙 #ServiceLearning #Belize #GlobalHealth #NursingEducation #CommunityHealth #WellnessChecks #CulturalExperience #Healthcare #Travel #Snorkeling #StudentSuccess
