MASSACHUSETTS REMOTE/HYBRID PROJECT MANAGER OPPORTUNITY - FLEX HOURS
A lot of firms wait until they need someone to start hiring. Which is already too late. In industry's where there is a shortage of good people, a firms hiring position almost always be proactive. It will cost more to have an open role when needed VS hiring someone proactively. Correct hiring *should look like: (Step 1) New Opening/Retirement/Resignation/Bidding a project/Potential growth plans/Forecast planning ➡️ (Step 2) Engaging with less experienced hires that can be trained and developed from within ➡️ (Step 3) Creating a succession based firm both internally and from an external hire perspective ➡️ Less chaos when step 1 happens

One of the things we've always found interesting about recruitment is that most people don’t remember the process. They remember how they felt during it. We don't often like to toot our own horn, but after John Giordano gave our very own Greg such a glowing reference, for his career support during a time of need, it would be rude of us not to share it! Changing jobs is rarely just about 'just' compensation. After all it can be seen as risk and it certainly favors the brave. Bravo to all those who took steps up this month. From the outside it looks easy, but you must account for family for timing and external pressure and remain strong throughout!

Great evening at BOMA New York’s What Employers and Candidates Want in 2026. Proud to have sponsored the event alongside Rudin and DMG Group NYC Ltd., and to have had the opportunity to give back to the CRE community by sharing hiring insight that is not always readily available. A big thank you to BOMA New York, 1700 Broadway - New York, the speakers, and everyone who joined us for such a valuable discussion.
BOMA New York hosted a fireside chat yesterday evening at 1700 Broadway - New York examining the state of the commercial real estate hiring market and bringing together industry leaders to discuss the hiring expectations, compensation trends, and retention strategies shaping the current employment landscape. Moderated by Dariana Wagman of Flag Waterproofing & Restoration, the discussion featured Dan Wellings of Heron Wolf and Michelle Cameron of Rudin, who explored what candidates consistently seek in today’s market, the factors influencing employer of choice status, and where employer and employee expectations most often misalign. The conversation addressed hiring sentiment across Class A office portfolios and provided practical insights that property management professionals can apply as they navigate talent acquisition and retention challenges throughout the year. As commercial real estate continues to evolve alongside broader workplace trends, understanding current hiring dynamics helps organizations position themselves more competitively when recruiting and retaining the operational talent that drives building performance. Thank you to venue host Rockhill for generously providing the space at 1700 Broadway, and to event sponsors Heron Wolf, DMG Group NYC Ltd, and Rudin for their support. Events like these create opportunities for BOMA New York members to engage directly with the issues affecting their businesses and gain actionable insight from peers navigating similar challenges across the industry. #BOMANY #CREHiring #TalentAcquisition #PropertyManagement #FiresideChat #CommercialRealEstate #CRE #NYC #Retention
