Most organizations are sitting on a seven-figure workforce investment, but few can prove it’s working. We surveyed 178 HR, L&D, and Total Rewards leaders to benchmark the state of education benefits and to uncover what separates high-performing programs from the rest. The gap between perception and performance is wide, but the data shows what leaders can do to close it.👇 Download the full report: https://lnkd.in/ePpZY-_E

"Today, more than 300,000 people wear the Securitas badge across the globe. They show up every day to help protect people, businesses, and communities, and they deserve meaningful opportunities for growth. That’s why I’m proud to share that Securitas USA is partnering with Guild to launch the SecureU Education Benefit Program. This program expands access to a range of educational opportunities, including degree programs, certifications, and skill-based learning aligned with career pathways. At Securitas, we believe that when people dedicate their careers to protecting others, organizations have a responsibility to invest in their growth. As the first security company to partner with Guild at this scale, we’re making a long-term investment in the people behind protection. Most importantly, this partnership reflects what we believe in at Securitas: when we invest in people, we unlock their potential, building a stronger future together. Thank you to the teams at Guild and Securitas who helped bring this vision to life." – Chrisoula (Chrissy) Toskos, Chief People and Experience Officer Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eC3puvwV #Guild #Securitas #Education #Career #Leadership #Security

I spend a lot of time working with AI on my own. I guess we all do. AI is a captivating and extraordinary technology in so many ways, but can also be a lonely one. That's one of the reasons our AI Meeting of the Minds earlier this month was so special. I had the privilege of leading an in-person session with a group of 35 extraordinary L&D and AI leaders representing nearly 1.5 million employees from a wide variety of industries and regions. We spent the day thinking creatively about how to prepare our people for the AI-centric world emerging all around us. I learned so much from the provocative conversation, the fantastic group projects, and the relentless push from every participant to keep humans at the center of our work. But most of all, I was reminded that even the most intense challenges feel a lot more manageable in community and in conversation. And ever since then, even when I'm working on my own, the AI work feels a little less lonely and a little more human. Very grateful to Cameron Hedrick for kicking off the day with a keynote that was both grounding and challenging, creative and inspiring. There is no one else in the world of HR thinking more clearly or with more urgency about AI than Cameron. I wrote more about the day and what I learned in my latest piece for Guild. Check it out here and let me know what you think: https://lnkd.in/eBvDmBni

For decades, our education systems and state investments have been designed around inputs and access rather than outcomes. In a new Guild Insights piece, Eloy Oakley, president and CEO of College Futures Foundation, speaks to why that model no longer works. With AI reshaping jobs across every sector, the workforce requires tighter alignment between learning and real opportunity. Forward-thinking states are already moving: 👉 Colorado is building a unified, employer-driven talent strategy 👉 Indiana is funding pathways tied to real wage and hiring demand 👉California is making outcomes transparent with cradle-to-career data systems For state and workforce development leaders, Eloy makes the case for a fundamental reorientation: from systems organized around participation to systems organized around outcomes and accountability anchored to economic mobility. This National Nurses Week we’ve been celebrating the incredible work that nurses do day in and day out. Their training, their empathy, and life experiences all contribute to exceptional patient care. The reality is today’s RN workforce doesn’t reflect the diversity of the U.S. population it cares for. For Tayler S. at Sentara Health, that disparity motivated her to make a life-changing pivot. After learning that minority women face higher rates of death during and after childbirth from preventable complications, she decided to change her path. She transitioned from a career in communications to healthcare. Tayler became a CNA, worked her way into nursing school, and committed to making a difference for patients who need it most. With support from her employer and Guild, she earned her nursing degree tuition-free. Today, she is more than two years into her career in the O.R. She found a specialty she loves and continues to stay connected to the reason she started: “saving moms.” Her story shows what can happen when someone feels called to step in AND has the support to follow through. It’s National Nurses Week and we’re not only celebrating RNs, but all those in crucial allied health roles! From CNAs, to Health Techs, to Personal Care Aides and beyond, these roles not only play a pivotal role in patient care but often serve as stepping stones for future nurses. That’s why innovative partners like Nahiem Rodriguez at Main Line Health are rethinking traditional notions of workforce development. Rather than thinking in terms of titles and skills, people are seen as opportunities for personal and professional growth. The result? -Career paths become clearer. -Leaders get more engaged. -Employees can see exactly what it takes to grow. Join Nahiem on an upcoming Becker's Healthcare webinar alongside leaders from UCHealth, Baylor Scott & White Health, and Rush University System for Health. We’re celebrating National Nurses Week to shine a spotlight on the work that nurses do every day. Work that is not only essential, it’s incredibly demanding. So much so, that the national RN turnover rate climbed to 17.6% in 2025.* The first time it’s increased since peaking during the pandemic. But some healthcare systems are bucking that trend. At UCHealth, leaders like Nicole Schell-Dreyer are investing directly into their workforce — unlocking opportunities for internal talent to build careers, fill in-demand roles, and stay long-term. Join Nicole on an upcoming Becker's Healthcare webinar alongside leaders from Baylor Scott & White Health, Main Line Health, and Rush University System for Health. They will share how they are: 👉 Identifying internal talent ready to grow into critical roles 👉 Aligning education pathways to real workforce gaps 👉 Building programs that drive measurable results 📅 May 12 at 12 PM ET Register here: https://lnkd.in/e7wT-_Bi *2026 NSI National Health Care Retention & RN Staffing Report
