Godfrey & Kahn team members recently volunteered with the Urban Ecology Center in Milwaukee, partnering with their Land Management team to build and install protective cages around newly planted shrubs and trees throughout the park. These cages help protect young plants from rabbits, deer, and accidental foot traffic, giving them a better chance to grow and thrive. It was a rewarding day of hands-on work, collaboration, and time outdoors, with plenty of fun along the way 😉🛝 We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the Urban Ecology Center’s mission and make a positive impact in our local community. 🌿

In celebration of Earth Day, our Madison office volunteered at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center to support the center’s conservation efforts. With a strong turnout and beautiful spring weather, colleagues worked together to plant native species, spread mulch, and clear plant debris from the rain gardens. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with colleagues outside the office while giving back to the community and the environment. 🌎🤝
