  • Leadership doesn’t come from fitting a mold. It comes from staying true to who you are and choosing the right people along the way. Congratulations to our Chief Brand, Experience and Marketing Officer, Hema Widhani, on being named a 2026 Ascend A‑List Awards honoree — and for leading with authenticity and purpose. https://lnkd.in/ggqatGaz

It feels like yesterday that I came to this country with a dance degree, a dream, and no clear map — stepping into uncharted territory. Along the way, I received a lot of well-intentioned advice: Change your accent. Change your stage presence. Change your network. And, learn about American sports. That's how you succeed in corporate America. But here's what I learned: the magic wasn't in changing myself. It was in making intentional, authentic choices. I chose to build a family that didn't just tolerate my ambitions — they nurtured them. I chose to show up as myself, even when I didn't fit in. And I chose my people wisely — those who saw my potential when I was second-guessing myself. When I look at those honored at this year’s Ascend A-List Awards, I see extraordinary stories of quiet excellence. And yet, research shows it's four times harder for Asians to reach the top — not for lack of talent or drive, but because of systems and perceptions that still need to change. Ascend helps change those odds by elevating our stories and giving our leadership the visibility it deserves. Thank you, Ascend, for this honor — and for the important work you do. I’m also deeply grateful to the Edward Jones family—thank you for the support, encouragement, and celebration. • We recently celebrated the end of year one of the Financial Futures Education Savings Program pilot and have some exciting news to share: participating students earned a whopping $422,000 toward their 529 savings accounts! Plus, the program will continue into a second year! Designed to help reduce financial barriers to higher education, this program helps students earn contributions toward their 529 education savings accounts by completing career and financial education activities with Everfi—supporting paths to college, technical school or apprenticeships. The pilot launched at Sam Houston High School in Arlington, with 31 students participating. We’re proud of these students and grateful to everyone who helped make year one a success. Here’s to more opportunity, confidence and momentum in year two. Learn more about how we're helping foster financial opportunity for students: https://ow.ly/6v5l50YZbYp

  • Despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, markets have shown notable strength, in large part driven by resilient corporate earnings. • This Earth Day 2026, our Green Business Resource Group showed what it truly means to give back to the communities we serve. In partnership with Trailnet, the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and the Edward Jones Production Services Department, 62 associates and community members came together along the Ted Jones Trail to restore 1.5 miles of green space—removing more than 2,250 gallons of litter and helping preserve a trail enjoyed by neighbors, families and visitors alike. The location was especially meaningful since giving back and preserving green space were core values of Ted Jones—making this effort on the Ted Jones Trail a powerful reflection of his legacy in action. This work was made possible through strong local relationships and associate leadership, including Financial Advisor Mark Bates, who also serves on TrailNet’s Board of Directors, demonstrating how leading locally creates lasting impact. And this is just one part of a much bigger story. Across North America, approximately 25,000 associates support more than 11,300 community organizations, stepping up to strengthen the communities where they live and work. Because when it comes to giving back, we don’t just talk the talk—we walk the walk. Learn more about how we’re partnering for positive impact: https://ow.ly/QZo850YWa0I
