CME Group has announced plans to launch options on Eris SOFR Swap futures, expanding the toolkit available for managing U.S. interest rate risk. As Don Wilson, our Founder and CEO, shared: “From the beginning, the goal of Eris was to rethink how swap spread risk could be accessed, combining the precision of OTC markets with the efficiency of futures… CME Group’s addition of options will enable more sophisticated risk management strategies while preserving the capital and liquidity advantages that have driven the impressive growth of Eris SOFR Swap futures.” With more than 10 million contracts traded since launch, Eris SOFR continues to see strong adoption across market participants. Last week, Discover DRW brought students together in London and Chicago for a two-day immersive experience exploring the world of quantitative trading. From our trader panel to hands-on challenges like a card trading game, coin flip game, and datathon, students got a real feel for how we think and work at DRW. The program also included desk shadowing, office tours, and a networking event to connect more closely with our team. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us.
